九华山风景区
Mount Jiuhua is one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains, devoted to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Its misty granite peaks shelter nearly a hundred temples, including the grand Huacheng and the mountaintop Tiantai. Pilgrims and hikers alike come for sunrise over a sea of clouds, the mountain's serene vegetarian cuisine, and a living tradition of devotion stretching back over a millennium.
