井冈山风景旅游区
Famed as the cradle of the Chinese revolution, Jinggangshan blends red history with emerald wilderness. In 1927 the Red Army's first rural base was founded among these bamboo-clad ridges, and memorial halls and former headquarters now draw pilgrims of history. Waterfalls, azalea-covered slopes and cool mountain air reward those who wander beyond the monuments.
