Wugong Mountains

武功山景区

The Wugong Mountains are famous for their rare alpine meadows — vast golden grasslands rolling across high ridges above a sea of clouds. Hikers trek for hours through dwarf forests and mist to reach Golden Summit, where sunrise ignites the grasslands in fire. It is one of southern China's great hiking pilgrimages and a photographer's paradise.
