天台山景区
The cradle of the Tiantai school of Chinese Buddhism and a sacred Taoist mountain, Tiantai rises in forested ridges around the 1,138-meter Huading Peak. Pilgrims have climbed to Guoqing Temple — founded in 598 and the sect's ancestral monastery — for fourteen centuries, passing waterfalls, stone bridges, and mossy cliff inscriptions along the way.
