Rising in the Dabie Mountains of Jinzhai County, Tiantangzhai — 'Heavenly Village' — is famed for its roaring waterfalls and cool, misty gorges. Trails wind past plunging cascades and through virgin forest toward a cloud-wrapped summit. In summer it's one of Anhui's best escapes from the heat; in autumn, the foliage turns the valleys to fire.
