Guifeng

龟峰景区

Guifeng, or "Turtle Peak," is a UNESCO-listed Danxia wonderland of red sandstone sculpted into turtles, camels and crouching giants. Part of the "China Danxia" World Heritage site near Yiyang, its trails weave between solitary pinnacles and through cool, mossy gorges. Whimsical rock formations and quiet forests make it a delightful detour off Jiangxi's main tourist routes.
